I began taking photographs as a way to record my experiences while traveling and exploring the outdoors. It was a way for me to live in the moment and fully take in the environment using all of my senses. Standing in the mountains and witnessing the sky explode into a pageantry of colors while patiently waiting for the first twinkle of the stars to emerge in the blackness of the night is an indescribable experience. Pushing the limits of my camera’s technical abilities and taking those ideations in an attempt to freeze them into a single still frame in post-production is an tremendous test of patience. The act of searching for light in the energized landscapes and being present during these moments of Earth’s naturally occurring harmony truly motivate me to step out into nature and experience the world with my camera in hand.

Landscape, wildlife, and commercial photography are where my passions lay. I strive to capture the essence of adventure through storytelling and wonder via photo, crusading against the mundane and living a lifestyle of wanderlust. In my visual work, I am motivated by the urge to create awe-invoking images and a desire to uncover new places that are unchartered territory. My ultimate goal as a photographer is to create images that invoke memories and inspire people to consider their relationship with nature while promoting conservation. In doing so, I create vista landscapes of vivid color that incorporate enthralling components in the composition.

Being behind the camera, I can extract the hidden beauty from everyday, ordinary situations and share it with others who might not otherwise notice it. Photographs are my love letter to wanderlust.
